Meeting: 2023 International Congress

Abstract Number: 478

Keywords: Non-motor Scales, Parkinson’s, Premotor potentials

Category: Parkinson's Disease: Non-Motor Symptoms

Objective: Evaluation of the role and value of a special computer program for early detection of PD in ambulatory settings

Background: The first symptoms of Parkinson’s disease PD) can start very early. It is possible to predict the disease by detecting these signs early.

Method: 80 patients were examined through a special computer program in ambulatory conditions. The age of the patients is 38-67 years, with an average age of 52.5±5.6. years. We have developed a “Computer program for diagnosing and preventing progression of early (non-motor) disorders in PD in primary health care.” (Certificate DGU, 15174 dated 07.03.2022, author Daminova H.M.). Patients undergo a computer examination. Each indicator is assigned a certain score. As a result, a score is collected, based on which the program makes certain recommendations,

Results: Disease was suspected in 8 (9.35) out of 86 examined patients. Suspected patients underwent special examinations and a diagnosis of the disease was made. According to the results of our research and the scores collected from 0 to 40 points, there are no fixed risk factors for parkinsonism, if there is no risk of developing PD.  Based on the results of our study and a score of 41-80 given some unknown risk factors for parkinsonism, there is a clear risk of nonmotor symptoms and development of PD in the presence of partially unaltered risk factors for parkinsonism. 81-120 points, the stage of premotor biomarkers of PK disease is manifested and the risk of development is evident. According to the results of our studies and paid scores from 121 to 160 points, the risk of developing PK is very high.

Conclusion: In ambulatory conditions, Parkinson’s disease can be detected early through a special computer program.
