Background: The intention of this work is to present the impact generated by the community workshops of the Health Centers in the CV of users with Parkinson’s Disease, in addition to presenting an intervention plan through workshops of Parkinson’s for the other centers of rehabilitation of the commune of Coquimbo.

Methods: Design of Action Research, with a qualitative approach. Direct observation of the multiprofessional workshops that include activities of Cognitive Stimulation, Art Therapy and Physical Exercises, aimed at groups of 20 users with Parkinson’s Disease, belonging to 2 Community Health Centers of the city of Coquimbo. Results: To know the perception about the personal and community benefits generated by the workshops in the rehabilitation processes of users with Parkinson’s Disease and their relatives. It was possible to maintain participation in the workshops, preventing the desertion and promoting social inclusion. A user perception of better quality of life was evidenced with the participation of the workshops. Faced with the results obtained, proposals for action were made to the other Community Rehabilitation Centers of the city of Coquimbo, to establish standard guidelines in relation to multiprofessional work and approach to workshops given to users with Parkinson’s disease.

Conclusions: These workshops were established 4 years ago in the Health Centers, with a multiprofessional team of Speech Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, and Kinesiologist. The proposal of the multidisciplinary community workshops in the Health Centers of our community is part of the Community Based Rehabilitation, with the aim of bringing the human and professional resource to users with Parkinson’s Disease in the different sectors of the community.
